4. Outline

1) Qualification : Athlete from kindergarten to adult.

2) Competition : Individual, Team

3) Method : No Regulation on Belt & Uniform

-Individual : Tournament competition follow the KTA Rules.

Differentiate League to A & B.

●League A- 4 Athlete in one Competition (Expert Body Protector)

All division must wear electronic body&head protector

- ( Hold ‘Best of the Best’ for gold medalist in each weight )

Best of the Best point for Group award will count as below.

First Prize : 30 Point

Second Prize : 14 Point

Third Prize : 6 Point

●League B- 4 Athlete in one Competition (Normal Body Protector).

medal point for Group award will count as below.

First Prize : 3 Point

Second Prize : 2 Point

Third Prize : 1 Point

4) Duration on Contest :

Three rounds of one minute each with a thirty-second rest period between rounds.

In case of a tie score, a 4th round of one minute shall be conducted as the golden-point round.

Win by final score is decided by winning majority of vote.

5) 3-Player Team : Athlete participated individual Competition only.

Medals in ‘GYEORUGI 3-Player Team’ will included in A league Point

3 players with mixed weight

Each athletes compete for the first round, then the next round shall be conducted based on a tag-team match format for 2 minutes.

For each rotation athlete should play no less then 10 second, and at closing 10 second there should be no rotation.

6) Weight-In :

Weigh-in can be made multiple times, however one will be eliminated if did not qualified. During weigh-in, participant shall wear uniform bottoms with T-shirt that weigh no more than 400g.

-League A consist of 4 athlete in one competition, with gold, silver, bronze (2 Athlete) medal award for each weight division.

Hold ‘Best of the Best’ for gold medalist in each weight

-Mixed gender for Children C competition.

-Medal ceremony will be held after the event final

-Group Award decided by Medal Point in League A&B

(The league will only add the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, point of ‘Best of the Best’)

League B Weight Divisions

-League B consist of 4 athlete in one competition, with gold, silver, bronze (2 Athlete) medal award for each class.

-Medal ceremony will be held after each competition

-Group Award decided by Medal Point in League A&B

(The league will only add the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, point of ‘Best of the Best’)

Competition Start in Aug 12, 2018

Athlete will perform in separate divisions based on their belt color

PoomSae Award will decided by points in League A & B

League A

There will be age divisions with maximum of 4 athlete. Each division winner will join ‘Best of the Best’ tournament.

The points of medals from 2 divisions: Junior (2011~2006), Senior (born before 2006) will be counted for the best team awards

(The league will only add the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, point of ‘Best of the Best’)

Group Competition

Athlete participated individual Competition are qualified to join.

Two competitors will perform at the same time and the winner will be determined by having at least 2 out of 3 referee points. 

★PoomSae Outline

1. Taekwonaerobic: Aug 11, 2018 19:00

1) To compete in the Taekwonaerobic competition, the team members must compete in the Poomsae or Gyeorugi competitions. There should be 10 or fewer members in a Taekwonaerobic team.

Junior Team : Born after 2006

Senior Team : Born before 2005

2) Trophy, Honourable Certificate, and prize money will be awarded

3) Bring your own music: The USB must be submitted before the competition.

4) Rules: Taekwonaerobic carried out Expo accommodation specially stage at 7:00 p.m.

- Teams can wear any kinds of uniforms or attires for the performance.

- Time limit: 2 minutes. There will be penalty if time exceeds - 5 points will be subtracted for every additional 10 seconds.

- The performance may show free __EXPRESSION__ based on martial arts movements.

5) Scores will be reflected based on synchronization, accuracy, variety, and punctuality.

6) There will be 5 referees, and the highest and the lowest scores will be excluded from the average scores.

7) The medal points from Taekwonaerobic competition will not be counted to the best team awards.

2) High Jump Kick

Competition that measure how much the athlete could jump by high jump kick

Athlete may kick as they want

There will be age divisions with maximum of 4 athlete.

3) Fastest Kick Competition

Kick sand back for 20 second and measure whom kick the most.

There will be age divisions with maximum of 4 athlete.

4) Gyeokpa – Undicided

Athlete will awarded with Gold, Silver, Bronze medal

Depend on situation there could be ‘Best of the Best’ Tournament.

4) Individual Equipment : Uniforms (short-sleeves and shorts are not allowed), belt (black belts of young competitors are allowed), headgear, forearm pads, shin and instep pads, groin cup, and mouthpiece.

5) Others

- We are not responsible for any injuries during the competitions.

- In principal, each team must have its own insurance contract.

- You have to follow our decision if something not mentioned in the rule book happens.

- More details may be changed or decided in a representatives' meeting.

6) Registration Fees

- Individual Gyerugi & Poomsae : League A \20,000, League B \25,000

(To participate in both Gyerugi and Poomsae competitions: \35,000)

- GyeongYeon-HighJumpKick, Fastest Kick, Gyeokpa : \10,000

- Karate Competition : \10,000

- 3 to 3 Group Gyerugi : \50,000

- Taekwonaerobic : \70,000
